  6. How to create good UI by ManamiWasThere Table of contents: Introduction Beginning Picking the colors Finishing up 1. Introduction UI (User-interface) is a major element in every game and it is a must-have element in games and applications. Only good UI can attract user to use your application or play your game. Today, I will teach you how to make good UI for your game. 2. Beginning Let's say I am making a notification UI for my game and it has to be modern and sleek. First, launch ROBLOX Studio. Then make a baseplate game. After that, go to Explorer and find StarterGui (). After that, click the plus icon and look for ScreenGui ( ). Create a frame named Notification into the ScreenGui and set the size to 0.171, 0, 0.145, 0 and then add UIAspectRatioConstraint. Set the AspectRatio to 2.2. This will make the UI scale in a ratio, making it scaled perfectly. After that, change the position of the frame to 0.882, 0, 0.77, 0. Your UI will look like this Then, add another frame named Top and set the size to 1, 0, 0.25, 0. Put it in Notification frame. Add a TextLabel into the frame and set the size to 0.95, 0, 0.8, 0. After that, change the position to 0.25, 0, 0.1, 0. Then, create another frame named Middle inside of Notification and set the size to 1, 0, 0.75, 0. After that, set the position to 0, 0, 0.25, 0. Then, create a TextLabel into the frame and set the size to 0.909, 0, 0.667, 0. Set the position to 0.041, 0 , 0.16, 0. Your UI should look like this 3. Picking the colors Yuck, the UI we created in the beginning was plain and disgusting. Let's customize it. First, change Notification frame's BackgroundTransparency to 0, BackgroundColor3 to #121212 and BorderSizePixel to 0. Then, change Middle frame's BorderSizePixel to 0 and BackgroundTransparency to 0.95. After that, change Top frame's BorderSizePixel to 0 and BackgroundTransparency to 0.9. After that, change all TextLabel's BackgroundTransparency to 1, BorderSizePixel to 0 and change TextColor3 to #FFFFFF. Your UI should look like this 4. Finishing up Ayy, the UI looks perfect now but we are missing something. Do you notice the size of the text in Middle are very small? Let's modify it. Turn on TextScaled and TextWrapped. Your UI should look like this Thank you for reading my tutorial on making basic UI. I hope this could help you make good UI. Happy designing!
