When is a good age to start to learn scripting?

Recommended Posts

You should learn as soon as possible. Programming changes your view on the world and makes you a more logical person. It helps both as a skill and as a life lesson. Very young kids can start using things like scratch to start wrapping their heads around programming.

The younger you are when you start, in my opinion, the better you'll be when you grow older.

Obviously there are many amazing programmers out there that started as teens or even adults.

Remember - the older you are, the easier it will be to think logically (why 12 y.o's aren't taking over the programming world)
